Mehdi Nourinejad is an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at York University and an Amazon Scholar at Amazon Science. Mehdi received his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto and was a post-doctoral fellow at the Rotman School of Management prior to joining York University. Mehdi’s research focuses on planning and optimization of transportation systems using web-based tools that are interactive, intuitive, accessible, data-driven, and model-driven. Mehdi's work hinges on close collaborations with the Public Sector and the Technology Sector. Some use cases include routing problems in last-mile logistics, bikeshare network planning, electric vehicle charger planning, and fleet electrification; see more examples at interactive-or.net.
